We complained when our local Indian restaurant started serving takeaway in plastic containers. We can’t have been the only ones, they soon went back to foil. And how do you “forget” about your curry!!!
To even put on the oven for a few minutes on that heat while putting TUPPERWARE CONTAINERS into it.... That's really not smart and I'm being immensely nice with how I'm wording it here LOL.
Oh man... That's a horrible mess that's been made of that poor oven. Stuck-on, fully carbonized food is difficult and stinky enough to try and scrape off the bottom of the oven. Plastic will be even worse, and you'll absolutely need to make sure the area is WELL VENTILATED before using the cleaning function of the oven if it's got one. EZ-Off is the cleaning solution I'd usually recommend, but in this case that's just going to triple the amount of toxic, noxious fumes you're releasing.
That is so sad! I had a similar experience with my favorite teriyaki, but in my case, I forgot the take out at the restaurant and by the time I remembered it was too late. It had been so long since I had an opportunity to go to that restaurant that I almost cried at the loss of the food. (Being exhausted from a long, hard hike may have contributed to the emotion and to the forgetfulness.)
Never store your crock-pot in the oven, without a note over the controls warning that you're storing things in it. I was preheating it for a casserole. 400°f... it was not fun to clean up.

Glad other people than me have had plastic disasters in the oven. Makes me feel not alone.
Expect nothing less from women, and then HE had to clean it up, not her

My dad left a pizza slice in the oven for 3 DAYS! Sent a photo to all of us when he finally realized, looked like a brownie. 🫣
